I try and have some of this on hand at all time. It gets me full and helps me cope with hangry. Its easy to store, great for road trips, you can buy it in balk and its the bossasauuce.
The mix generally includes a base of pistachios, almonds, and macadamia nuts. Which are the best nuts for you. I like to have one dried fruit element like cranberries and if I’m feeling super sweet ill throw in a small bit of sugar crusted nut of some kind as a treat. Beats eating an ice cream cake and shittin my pants afterwards. Avoid weird oils like canola oil and any high fructose corn syrup or soy lecithin. I’ll sometimes add 80%+ Cacao chunks as well.
These are bomb. We literally eat them as a meal sometimes. They are also a great replacement for popcorn during a late night movie. Sooo bauwsassauce. To make cut the stem off the Brussels Sprouts and peal the leaves into the dish. When you cannot peal any farther, cut more of the stem. When you are left with just the core slice into thin shards. Heat the oven to 350.
When you have a baking dish full of Brussels drizzle in olive oil and add salt and pepper. Bake for about 45 minutes until the leaves start to brown. Even if you burn the whole lot its delicious. Experiment a little.
Top with butter and eat with your hands. Chunks of broccoli are equally as good. Make kale chips this way and they come out delicious. Top with a little fresh shredded parm if you like to live dangerously.
Cinnamon rice cake, almond butter and honey. This is a little bit not paleo but an all a bit delicious snack. I eat post workout or pre late night video games. This is basically a treat for me. Little too much sugar to call it a health snack but it’s not a half a tub of ice cream either. Those dried berries are just for show. I call this a Crispy Kringle because one night i was making up words and Haley laughed so it stuck.
